Here's a quick 4G LTE speed test on Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles, California for all U.S. major networks including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint. Overall, all 4 networks get pretty good coverage all over Los Angeles area in my tests so far. Here's a 4G LTE speed test of AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon in Manhattan, New York. If you are thinking about switching carriers, here's my recommendation and thoughts on the best network in New York City: T-Mobile - Best overall speeds/value especially if you can get their unlimited plan. I am paying $100/month for 2 lines unlimited. Verizon - Best overall speeds, if it is mission critical and you travel often for business, Verizon is going to give you the best coverage all over the U.S. But Verizon can cost more than others. AT&T - Not bad but T-Mobile or Verizon would be better if you live in New York City. Sprint - Sprint is spotty, it's hit or miss in New York City or San Francisco. Too many promises and under-delivers. Avoid them if you can. Check out more speed tes...
Here's another 4G LTE speed test I did here in SF Bay Area at my parent's house in Pleasanton, California. My current favorite networks in SF Bay Area (based on 4G LTE coverage/speeds and $$$) #1 - T-Mobile - They have done the best of upgrading towers recently. I am getting full 4G LTE in most places in SF Bay Area. #2 - AT&T - A lot more expensive but if cost isn't an issue, AT&T definitely wins for coverage/speeds. #3 - Verizon - Verizon has begun throttling high-bandwidth users, which probably is inevitable considering they have too many customers. Although Verizon used to be the best, their network is being congested, I would def. look elsewhere at the moment. #4 - Sprint - Sprint has some great deals but very poor coverage in California and the West Coast. Sprint has always...

72.51gb used and still very fast lte speeds here in Los Angeles.

http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/ This is a data connection internet speed test between an iPhone 4S "4G" (HSPA) versus the Samsung Galaxy S3 "4G LTE" on the At&t network in Orange County, Southern California. On both phones I used the SpeedTest.net App by Ookla.com with the Los Angeles, CA server. The results were as follows - Apple iPhone 4S Ping 108, Download 4.47 Mbps, Upload .61 Mbps Samsung Galaxy S3 Ping 86, Download 6.18 Mbps, Upload .95 Mbps
